Intricately detailed ceramic statue of Icarus standing on a ceramic plinth looking up into the sky, moments before his attempt to escape the Greek island Crete with his father Daedalus. This highly decorative statue was designed by Latour for Goldscheider. The base of the statue is impress-signed by the author, together with the Goldscheider company mark.

You will also find a latin text embossed on the front side of the statue, to the right from the clock.

This statue/clock is in excellent condition.
