Highly stylised Art Nouveau ceramic hand-painted amphora vase depicting a very feminine, rather scantily clad female playing with a long strand of her hair, resting on the shoulder of the amphora. The handles of the amphora are in a shape of leaves on both sides and the rim is depicting a stylised face - water fountain. The neck and the body of the vase is decorated with organic lines and hand-painted flower blossoms.
On the bottom of the amphora you will find a company mark "Royal Dux Bohemia, E" in a shape of a pink triangle that was used from 1912 onwards. There is also a serial number 825. Two letters placed to the right from the pink triangle are most likely initials of the artist.
This amphora is in great condition - no chips, no cracks, no restoration. Please, see detailed photographs of the upper part of her body where some small areas are not fully coated with colour.
