This vase was designed by Michelaud Freres for Limoges in the 1930s. The dominant blue-colour design portrays two magpies sitting on a branch. The gold rim of the vase elevates the decorative properties of the vase and works beautifully with the blue colour.
This piece is in unblemished condition. The gold patina is partly missing on the rim of the vase.
