A bronze plaquette depicting a female figure carrying a sailing ship was designed by E. Rubino in 1902. The plaquette is set in a modern picture frame. One could assume that the female might be a guardian to the sailors and travellers, judging by how gently and carefully she carries the ship as if she was holding a baby.
