This intricately detailed silver mechanical singing bird box was made in France by Flajoulot.The box is embellished with hand-made silver blossoms and other decorations that frame the body. A special technique called guilloché was used to decorate each panel.
When the bar is moved to the right, the oval lid opens up which releases the mechanical singing bird. The bird opens and closes its beak, turns around and makes real-like bird sounds. Videos of that are upon request.
The piece is in unblemished condition - it has a working mechanism.
