This precious tortoise mechanical singing bird box is embellished with an oval-shaped metal lid hand-engraved with a pair of birds by Bontem.
When the bar is moved to the right, the oval lid opens up which releases the mechanical singing bird. The bird opens and closes its beak, turns around and makes real-like bird sounds. Videos of that are upon request.
The piece is in unblemished condition - it has a working mechanism.
